Jamie walked up to the bartender and requested A song he knew by heart, "I Like It." He loved singing this song and it gave him pleasure to be giving this new artist tribute.

She nodded at Lyra,"Pier View Coffee is also pretty cool. But this place is better at night when you want to party", she replied then looked at the boy who was going up next,"I wonder what he's going to sing."

"I'm not a coffee fan," Lyra said to Tari, "too many... hipsters there," she said with a small laugh. Lyra perked up when the new song started to play. She stood up and started to dance when he started to sing, her water bottle in her hand. She let the music take control of her, but of course talking and listening to Tari whenever she spoke.

"Baby I like it!" Lyra sang along once Jamie started to sing the chorus. But it wasn't showing-off singing, it was the fun, shouting, having a good time singing. She span around, her hair hitting her face. This song was impossible to not dance to.

"Yay!" Lyra clapped and cheered when Jamie got off the stage. She took deep breaths to calm herself and sat down back at her seat and took a sip of water. "Great job," she said to Jamie as he sat down at his seat. She looked back at Tari and grinned.

When Tari left to get her drink, Lyra left her table and walked over to Jamie. "Nice song choice," Lyra complimented Jamie and held up her water bottle as a cheers gesture and took a sip. "Sunglasses in a building? Are you running from something?" Lyra asked curiously.

With her classmates at her side, Lyra entered Off Key Karaoke. Her smile widened as she greeted the workers who knew her by name. Lyra jumped in place and giggled, feeling the excitement rush to her. "Oh thank you for coming you guys," Lyra thanked her friends who followed. "Do any of you want to go first?"she asked. She never minded going first.
