Samantha followed Lyra into the building. She looked around. Lots of bright lights. She looked towards the others. She just wanted to see how well everyone else sang.

"I guess I'll sing if nobody wants to. Nobody has a problem with that, right?" Lyra asked as she started to walk to the sign-up area of the stage. She flipped through the song book, trying to think of a good song to sing that would help with her fight later on.

Nefertari walked through the doors and looked around, pretty nice turn out for a Sunday,"I think I'll pass today, so yeah go for it!", she replied, not feeling quite up to singing.

Artemis walked in after the other girls. It looked weird. Her head perked up when Lyra said she would go first. "Nefertairi You should be her back up dancer"S he joked looking around as she heard horrible singing.

Arteims laughed for about her first time here. She nodded. "Psh yeah...you could like...say or...rock the house?" She was yelling out random dance moves out for fun. "You never know" Artemis turned to the boy there. "Your going to sing?" She asked.

"Background dancer?" Lyra looked over her shoulder, trying not to laugh, " I never had one before," she said after picking her song. She went on stage and grinned as the lights shined down on her. Oh she could never get tired of this. A piano started to play, followed by build up of guitars and drums. Lyra's choice of song was "Lexington" by Chiodos. Her voice was higher than usual and the pitch differences would help her later on. "The fields are near and they wont trust the air with secrets," Lyra began singing, her voice almost haunting. She swayed when she sang to get the feeling of the beginning of the song.

Nefertari really enjoyed her song choice and Lyra's voice really suited the song, she replied to the blond girl,"Ah, darn, seems like I missed the chance to have my dancing debut", she replied smiling, then turning back to the stage.

Artemis sat back in her chair as she clapped to Lyra. "Yeah your lucky"She said turning back to the stage. Again she fumbled with her ring slipping it back on and off as she inhaled.

Lyra finished the song, holding on to the note as it descended into silence. Her face was sweating from moving around and putting her heart out to the song. It wasn't a soft, pretty, silent song that didn't take much effort. You had to try when it came to Chiodos to make it sound good. "Thank you!" Lyra grinned and bowed, panting slightly and walked off the stage.

Nefertari clapped a lot for Lyra's performance, she had done a great job. She grabbed a water and tossed it at Lyra when she came near, it seemed like she could use one. Tari looked over at Jamie to see what song he'd be singing.

"Thank you!" Lyra said, bowing to Jamie and then tried to catch the water bottle Tari threw, but it bounced of Lyra's hand and she bent over and got it. "Thank you thank you," Lyra said to Tari and opened the water bottle, almost gulping it down. She looked at the clock. It was almost time for the fight.
