She smiled at the two boys shaking Rhy's hand. She bowed her head slightly. "The pleasure is all mine" She spoke with her thick accent wondering if anyone would notice it in here.
She turned to Ethan and nodded. "Yeah...Im debation on going up or not" She said. She listened to Lyra sing and when the soong was over she clapped and smiled. "Lyra!" She yelled.

Ethan whooped and clapped for Lyra. "That was a great song choice," he complimented, suddenly feeling a lot more mellow than he was earlier. "Jimmy Eat World always has the best songs," Ethan added, he truly did love that band.

She smiled and cheered when Lyra finished her song, she clapped and when she came down complimented her on her song.

Aaron listened to Lyra's singing. He wondered if she put some spell in her singing, he was feeling rather sleepy. It was almost like a lullaby. Or maybe it was because of the time. He wanted the song to last forever, not because of her voice... but he still felt antsy about going up. But if he didn't go, he may regret it. When Lyra was done, Aaron clapped for her, wondering what song to sing, feeling his palms sweat from nervousness as he clapped.

"Thank you, thank you," Lyra bowed to her group of friends as she sat back down at the table. She grinned at Ethan's comment about her song choice, "Yes, I agree. Jimmy Eat World... they are great. I'd love to sing Drugs or Me, but that's so depressing," Lyra said. Ethan had good choice in music. First he complimented on Weezer and now Jimmy Eat World. Oh hooray for common music choice.

Aaron looked at Artemis. He was nervous, "yeah, I'm next," but he was exited to go. Aaron stood up from his seat. Hopefully he'd come up with a song choice by the time he got to the DJ to pick out his song. He was getting second doubts about Green Day.

She checked her text messages again and shook her head, figures he'd be gay, she thought to herself. She saw that Aaron was going up and wished him luck, she saw he was really nervous and smiled encouragingly.

Artemis stayed quiet for a bit as Aaron went up there. She smiled a bit looking around. Her eye brow raised when she saw Mykel on Rhys. "Are they together?" she asked looking around. That would really suck if they were...but knowing her luck.

Rhys looked over in Mykel's direction as he thought this, snuggling closer to him and seemingly falling asleep. Cute, he thought of the situation. He's having more fun than I thought he'd have here Rhys thought jokingly. Too bad for him that he wasn't interested, but he'd play along, anyway. Everyone's reactions might be interesting, after all.
Artemis asked who was singing next, looking in his general direction. Aaron was up next and Rhys decided to sing one more time, as well, after Aaron.

Aaron requested his song. He got up stage and took the mic out of the stand. Up-close you could see his hand shaking, far away... it didn't seem like anything. "Uh, hi?" Everybody seemed to introduce themselves, but Aaron could only make out a hello. Music started to play, trumpets- but these were not the trumpets he wanted to hear. This song was Gackt's "Vanilla" and Aaron's eyes widen. He did not know this song, as cool as it would be if he could perfectly sing a song in Japanese... Aaron was only human... and American. "Um..." he looked like a deer in headlights. He looked at the DJ who apologized. Wrong song.
The song was changed. There was a crescendo of beats, then the familiar trumpets of Earth, Wind, and Fire's "September." Aaron's face smiled and he started to sing, "Do you remember? The 21st night of September?" his voice wasn't the greatest, but he was having fun while singing.
His face started to get red as the song progressed, "ah ah ah, ba de ya, say do you remember?" Aaron's voice went high pitch as he sang those high notes in the chorus of the song. It sounded like crap. His voice was cracking but he was having fun with it.
