Artemis sat there quietly. She clapped for aaron when his song was done. She lookd around a bit still wondering if she should go up or not. Artemis had two songs in her mind. Now she needed to pick...and see if she was going up.

Rhys clapped enthusiastically for Aaron as he finished singing. "Nice song choice, man!" It was clear he had fun singing and he did a good job, too.
He wanted to get up after Aaron sat down, but Mykel said something first, so he let him go first.

After singing the ever-so groovy, cheerful song that everybody could dance and sing to,and a humorous attempt done by Aaron, he finished the song, out of air. He was sweating. Aaron had to admit- he had fun with the song, even though he felt he got kicked in the balls when reaching the high notes. Like the singer from Passion Pit. "Thank you everyone!" Aaron spoke into the mic a little too loud. He pulled away, "uh, thank you! Good night Oceanside!" Aaron threw in a peace sign before leaving the stage.

Mykel stood quietly, going to the stage. "Adam's Song, Blink 182. This is for my little brother." He said, nodding to start the music. "I never thought, I'd die alone, I laughed the loudest, who'd have known? I traced the cord back to the wall, no wonder it was never plugged in at all." Sadness became anger through the songs lyrics.

Mykel pulled back, voice soft again as he sang. "I never thought I'd die alone Another six months I'll be unknown Give all my things to all my friends You'll never set foot in my room again. " It was true. No one would, not at home.

She laughed after Aaron's very different performance, she clapped when his song finished and looked up at Mykel who was starting to sing a song.

"I can't wait till I get home To pass the time in my room alone...." Mykel sighed the last line, setting the mic away and stepping down. "I'm going home." He whispered to Tari. "I can't stay here."

She got up and gave Mykel a small hug,"Okay cool, I'll see you tomorrow alright?", she said, as he headed out the door. She sat back down and wondered who was going next.

Mykel sniffled softly as he set up a bolt, taking off his shoes and shirt, ready to ride.

Rhys clapped after Mykel's emotional performance. Apparently he was leaving. Well... it is pretty late he thought, also somewhat telepathically aware of Mykel's mood. Afterwards, though, he got up to go sing.
Once again climbing on stage, Rhys took the microphone from the stand and waitied for the song to start.
"Hey, it's just me, Rhys, this time, and I'll be singing Apocalypso by Mew"
The guitars came in followed closely by the drums, the beat energizing Rhys as he prepared to sing.
"In nolan time sign / what does the mind cover? / Are we talking? / White is the winter"
Rhys' voice floated through the karaoke place as he tried to mimic the high-pitched lyrics without his voice cracking too much. He held the mic with both hands and got very into his performance.
"Care-line, care-lines thumbed it up / what are your stories all about? / carries a weight on her swing / on her swing... "
Though after those last lyrics the song continued without vocals, Rhys continued to sway on stage, thumping his leg to the beat. The song finally ended. He gave a bow and smile and hopped off stage again.

Artemis watced Mykel leave. She pressed her lips to a line as she thought og going up but then say Rhys go up. She looked up to the stage as she listened to him sing. It was fun sitting here with her classmates as they all had fun. SHe in haled as she moved to th beat of the song. When he was done she clapped hesitating to go up or not.

She smiled and clapped for Rhys after he finished,"Nice song choice!", she said to him. She wondered if she should check on Mykel but figured he'd be okay on his own. She noticed Artemis was hesitating on going up, she gestured to the stage telling her to go up.

Artemis looked to Tari who gestured for her to go up. "I havent ever done this before" She said biting her lip looking tot he stage then back to the table.

Tari rolled her eyes,"Just go, if you bad no one cares. If you're good, awesome", she said, gesturing to the stage again.

"I think you should sing" Rhys chimed in, encouraging Artemis.
"Go on, Missy" he added with a wink.
