"It's... peaceful up here." she said contently, "Barely anyone ever comes up here and I can meditate with no distractions." Toshie smiled, "That is, until you tripped on me." She laughed a little and then shook her head, "I can feel my energy and the energy around me as well. The pure, undiluted energy of the night."
She was about to ramble, she could feel it, and stopped, "Ahh.. I'm sorry, this probably just sounds like a bunch of gibberish right now, huh?"

He chuckled and faced her, saying, "That trip wasn't my fault!" He continued a small laugh.
"Nah, no need to be sorry, you're quite right about it being peaceful up here," he responded. He slowly moved to the railings of the tower's top. "I may not feel the energy liked you do, but I can feel the serenity of the scene." he leaned on the railing, looking below.

Toshie grinned and laughed softly, "I'm glad we agree on something." She kept playing with her hair, she still didn't know this person very well and was acting to normal. It was strange to her. "So when did you get here?" she asked curiously as she watched him go up agains the railing.

"Umm a couple days ago? I lose track of time easily," he smiled. He glad he kept his cool for this long. He got over his last, nervous encounter, and it was only one person for no.
He turned back to face her, putting his back to the stone edges. Wanting to keep the conversation going, he continued, "This place seem pretty chill from what I heard, better than my old place at least," stopping to chuckle. "What do you think of this place," he shot a question to her.

"It's... interesting." she said after mulling it over, "Lots of interesting people, that's for sure." Toshie sat on the floor again, she figured it was pretty late now, but she didn't have a watch and shrugged it off. "Other than the few incidents that seemed to have occurred since I got here, it's been pretty nice." she said nodding, "The people are nice and the area is nice too, so I don't mind."
She looked up at him, "What do you think of this place?"

"I don't think I've been here long enough to decide what I think," he responded. He moved towards her and sat down to her right. He felt relaxed sitting down. "But nothing here has set off alarms yet, so it must be good, I guess."
He wondered why he felt so comfortable talking to her, it seemed inevitable. Still, he held back anything that might freak her out. He flopped his back to the ground and laid there. Random thoughts floated in his head. "You ever wonder if you were destined for something greater?" He felt liked he was drugged, but remember he hasn't given himself a hit yet.

She thought about his question, "Humm... I would like to think so, but it always feel so silly thinking that." Toshie looked up at the partially filled moon and tilted her head. She wasn't sure on how to respond; she's only thought of those things when she was a kid, but now? Not so much anymore.
"What exactly do you mean by 'greater?'" Toshie asked turning to him, "Do you mean like save the world greater? or something a bit smaller-scale like saving a city?"

To be perfectly honest with himself, he didn't know where this was going. He just let whatever natural come out of his mouth. "Uhh, you-u know," he stuttered out. He shook his head, and lifted himself to a sitting position. "Maybe we're supposed to be somewhere else besides this school, somewhere out there. Somewhere, maybe we're supposed to do something greater than just staying at this school." He shot a glare to Toshie, waiting for a response.

Toshie giggled when Max couldn't respond at first, "Maybe we are, but that's also why we're here, right? To learn more about our powers and be out there for those 'something greater's." She hugged her knees and smiled, the energy around them was calm. "So where're you from?" she asked curiously as she rested her head on her knees and looked at him.

Max threw a quick smile caused by her cute giggle. He leaned back on his arms in a slightly sitting/laying position, and threw his chin up. "I'm from the fantasy-like world of East, back in China."
His head faced down, as he felt a bug on his chest. "It took a awhile to get here, but I did" All in that moment, he decided to reveal himself more. "Have you ever been exposed to the bad side of life?" he vaguely questioned. He hoped his previous questions hasn't told her that he's a weirdo.

"The bad side of life?" she repeated to herself, vaguely recalling something but then was quickly shut off from that memory. Toshie blinked as she spaced for a bit and then answered him, "Uhm.. I don't think so. I never really got out much when I lived with my aunt." She scratched the back of her head in more thought, "Well.. I was picked on a lot when I was a kid, but I think that's about the extent of 'bad' I could get to."
She turned and looked to him again, "Why do you ask?" Toshie shifted her position so she was facing him directly instead of looking at him from the side.

Max played the scenario in his head and hoped for the best. He shifted towards Toshie and sat in a kneeling position.
Swiftly, but almost caressingly, he put both of his hands on the temple's of Toshie's head. He spoke before she could react, "Do you trust? Even if you don't, do you want to experience a heaven on earth?" Hoping not to sound like a total perv, his heart pounded a trillion times faster as he dreaded for an answer.

Toshie's eyes widened when he placed his hands on her, H-human contact.. oh god. She winced, caught off-guard, and then exhaled deeply. Calming down, she took in Max's words and looked at him, "What do you mean?" She was curious, maybe it was his powers he was going to show her.
She answered him though, "I don't trust... not easily at least. There's always that barrier, but I can sense that you have a good soul, the energy around you is content."

Max's heartbeats slowly turned to a normal pace, as with Toshie's answer was one not of rejection. His mouth formed into a smile. Totally unsure of his actions, he got tired of worrying of other's judgments, especially with this girl.
Without responding to her question, he began his mental tricks and induced a medium dose of ecstasy. His hand lowered from her head, his conscious waiting for her reaction. His face went to a look of uncertainty. "Ummm, how do you feel?" he slowly questioned.

Toshie looked at Max and smiled, "I feel happy. Really happy." She had this strange feeling of jubilance just bouncing around inside of her, her heartbeat quickened a bit as well. It was like all her worries were gone and she just looked at Max in awe, wanting to suddenly hug him now; she held herself back though, as hard as it was.
"What did you do?" Toshie was grossly curious as to how exactly his powers worked.
