"I'm not sure. I didn't see it with my own eyes, but someone said he kissed her. I doubt that would happen though," Tobias replied using hand motions to emphasize his words. He looked at Tari and smiled. Talking with her was always nice.

Cora stepped up to the tower, watching the sun rise. She notice some carvings illuminated by the pinkish glow. She crouched at the edge to read the scrawl.
Underneath the starry skies,
not often seen by human eyes,
is a place to go between.
Tunnel through the underground,
yet be careful,
for the Staff's eyes are keen.
Cora thought about the words. She smiled as the meaning lit in her head. We have to go out after curfew to see the tunnel. She smiled, running down from the tower.

Toshie climbed to the top of the tower to meditate in the night's air. She went to the middle as usual, but saw a strange reflection bouncing off something in the area. She investigated to find a strange text:
Underneath the starry skies,

Tunnel through the underground,
yet be careful, for the Staff's eyes are keen.
She tilted her head, thinking about it, and kept it in mind if she would ever need it. Other than that, she sat down in the middle of the room, legs criss-crossed, and closed her eyes. She focused on the energy around her and the lunar energy that spilled onto her. She always felt more at ease during the night.

Max Raine returned to the top of the tower to see if he could meet anyone else. As he finished climbing to the top, a distracting light hit his eyes. "Ah!," he yelped.
Coincidently, he failed to see the person sitting on the floor in the middle of the room. He tripped over her and hit the ground hard. He turned back to see if the girl was okay.

"WAI!" Toshie yelped as the boy tripped over her. She looked up at him wondering why he didn't even see her. "Uhm... hello." she said as she stood up, patting away the dust, "Who ahr you?"

He shook his head in shame for his fail. Taking a breather, he stood up and began speaking, "I'm SO sorry, there was a light, and it really distracted me."
He faced here eye to eye, "I'm Max, I'm sorta new. Your name?" He stuck out a hand, liked he always did.

"It's alright, being blinded light is a reasonable excuse for not seeing me," she said as she turned to him. She fixed her hair up a bit after shaking hands with him and bowed.
"My name is Toshie," she said, taking his hand and smiling, "I'm also sort of new here as well." Toshie scratched the back of her head, she wasn't very good with new people. "So... ahm... What is your power?" she asked, standing a bit awkwardly.

He shifted positions slightly, as answering this question never was comfortable. He retreated hands from the handshake into his pockets and said, "I mess with people's minds. Make them think they're seeing things they're not, feeling things they're not."
His eyes shifted off for a brief moment, then quickly locked with hers again. "What's yours?" he questioned her.

Toshie looked up in contemplation, she was never really sure how to explain her powers. "Hm... Well... I can use psionic energy... kind of like chi," she said, hoping that it made sense. She wasn't even going to bother with the whole persona explanation. It wasn't really needed anyway, Toshie could normally hold her own without Tsukiko's help.
"It's the energy that is essential to all living things, basically." she said feeling satisfied with her answer.

Max folded his arms and took in the information as best he could. He gave a little thought and understood what she was trying to say. "Psionic energy? That's pretty cool, cooler than the things I could do," he answered.
He stepped back a bit and looked up into the sky. "So what brings you here to a place like this?" he curiously said to her. His head stayed looking up.
