Zeke sighed and leaned back with Artemis, staring up at the sky "You never saw this many stars back in London did you" He commented absent-mindedly. "It's kinda nice not being chased down because of something you cant control...I dont think i'll be going back to the UK anytime soon thats for sure"

Artemis turned her head to look at Zeke. "Yeah something was always on...or causing light pollution" She said in a whisper turning back up to the brightly lit sky from the stars. "Its so peaceful out here, and heh I dont think they would want me back in the Uk, Plus its nice out here" She said pulling on her shorts.

Zeke raised an eyebrow at her playing with her shorts but shrugged it off and faced the stars again. "Well that's true...You got the time with you? It's probably late" He asked after a few moments of silence

Artemis layed there silent. She thought of the past things in her life until Ze shook her out of it. "Time? Oh hu yeah" She said taking out her cell that was placed in her bra. "Its 1:08" She nodded sitting up. Inhaling she shrugged. "You uh, better get some sleep class in the morning" She said.

Zeke shrugged boredly and after chuckling at her phone location stretched his arms. "Eh, I got coffee to keep me up through class...I'm staying here a little longer" He shrugged again, thinking for a moment before taking his phone from his pocket. "I dont suppose I could get your number? Incase I get bored in class and feel like talking to you"

Artemis looked up. "Oh our numbers are loacated in all of our halls just so you know. So if there is someone you meet and dont get there number you can go to there hall" She said taking his phone from his hand with a smile. She began dialing her number and clicked save. Her name under it was Molley with a heart <3. "There ya go" She saud nudging him as she stepped over the railing, sitting down she sat her legs dangling with no support in case she fell.

Zeke couldnt help but laugh at the heart, and after sitting up her moved to sit with her on the railing. "Still not a follower of the health and safety concept I see" He teased, still looking up at the sky. "So what time do classes start? And what do you do first?"

"You liked the heart?" She asked seeing him go to sit with her. Nodding she flashed him a smile. "You know it. "Missy sighed shrugging. My first class is Senior English" She shivered. Then Mr. Redwood with Ethical use of powers" ...She went on with her classes.

"Oh but of course my dear" Zeke laughed, smiling back at her. "You cold?" He asked, noting her shivering. It was cold out but Zeke was naturally very hot blooded, staying well heated no matter what the temperature

Zeke laughed and stood up, cracking his arms and neck. "Well Molley it's been fun talking to you, but I need to grab some shut eye. I would invite you to join me but I'm pretty sure thats against the rules...Try not to miss me too much" He teased, winking at Artemis before heading towards the stairs/

Penelope sat on the railing at the top of the tower, looking out. The school seemed to be very dull lately, and she hadn't seen anyone around that much. She shot bolts of lighting up into the air, and watched as the cracked through the clouds. "Well this is fun..."

Post by Cora Hendricks on Dec 10, 2010 16:39:41 GMT -8
Stepping up to the railing of the tower, Cora let the breeze caress her features lightly. She gazed out onto the horizon, manipulating the skies in her head. Cora sighed, wondering why she even was at school, being that she had relatively no power. With the mild exception of sensing death (which had been happening more frequently than it should) and hate (an inevitable thing, was it not?), along with being able to manipulate love, she was powerless. She would never play with one's emotions in such away. Cora was rather good at reading body language and such...but that was something most mortals could do. She had always wanted to be able to manipulate one's emotions, along with sense them. Cora sighed. When would she ever get to use her powers again? The voices that once had been thunderous were now mere background noise. "I just wish I could use it once, on anything," she huffed. Going through denial wasn't the best thing at the moment. She was already tied up with schoolwork, which she had made an effort to excel at since every other power she had was useless.
"Those who show pity and are always ready to help during times of trouble are seldom the same ones who rejoice in our joy: when others are happy they have nothing to do, they become superfluous and lose their feeling of superiority, and so they easily show their displeasure. -Friedrich Nietzsche"
So, with that quote in mind, Cora turned around. She could not pity herself anymore. That would be a selfish thing to do, in the end.

Robyn walked slowly up the staircase to the the top of the tower. Her school work had been piling up, and it seemed that the only thing that could relieve her of her stress was the view from the tower. There was something about being able to see the campus as a whole, instead of just one assignment- it gave Robyn a bit of perspective. She had realized while up here that there were other things, more important things. As she reached the top, the light from the setting sun shone onto her, and she saw the silhouette of a girl leaning against the railing. The girl spoke, wishing that she could use something. "Use what?" Robyn asked, hoping that she wouldn't startle her.
