The doors slid open and Lyra entered the hospital-like room with Tobias attached to her. "Help!" Lyra called out for the nurse. She lead Tobias to a bed and sat down next to him and sighed. That was the longest walk it seemed.
The nurse came walking, obviously cranky because she was stuck at the night shift. She demanded to know what would happen. They were in for a scolding. Lyra explained the situation as basic as it could be. Tobias got a bloody nose, he choked on the blood... and his shadow started to strangle him. The nurse had to check the student records for more, but Lyra said she was willing to explain.
Luckily the school didn't hire nurses who had no powers. It would make sense for a rapid healer who could heal others to work at a medical place. She touched Tobias' neck to help sooth the bruises and undo any damage to the wind pipes.
The nurse left so Tobias could rest. He had the option to stay over night.
"TK..." Lyra's voice cooed and her fingers ran through his hair once again. "You'll be fine..."

Tobias relaxed into the bed after the nurse had tended to his wounds. "Thank you for helping me Lyra," he said dreamily to the girl. He was exhausted from overexerting himself. "That feels nice," he told her as he pulled a pillow into a hug. "I'll sleep here," he whispered with a yawn.

"You did well today, TK..." Lyra spoke quietly, continuing to brush his hair. "I'm sorry again about what happened," Lyra said, her lips slightly pouting. "I'll visit you in the morning. Or text me when you get out, we'll do something fun tomorrow, okay?" Lyra said. She yawned, her eyes watering. Maybe she could try to sleep here tonight. The Hercules Hall seemed so far away. Lyra could tell the boy was tired. As she played with his hair, Lyra started to sing a Christmas song as a lullaby for shadow-boy to ease him to sleep.

Tobias rolled over in bed and let out a soft sigh. He felt better than he did last night, but he still wasn't willing to leave the infirmary. The nurse had checked on him periodically throughout the night to make sure he was okay. His throat felt a lot better and his ears had stopped ringing sometime during the night. For the most part, Tobias was back at 100%; he just didn't want to leave his bed.

Artemis left the tower. She had gottne a text saying TObias was in the Infirmary. She had wondered what happened or if someone came and like ambushed him or something. She hoped he was alright. Artemis made her way to Tobias as fast as she could. She opened the door and Tobias looking like he was still asleep. Artemis took a seat in the chair next to Tobias and put her face in her hands. "What happened to you?" SHe whispered not knowing if he was awake or not.

Tobias stirred, hearing a familiar voice. He turned to face the speaker and smiled as he saw Artemis. "Why hello there Miss Artemis," he whispered back at her. "I got into a little fight," he told her with a sly smile.

Artemis was on her way of standing up to let him sleep when Tobias turned over. She smiled when she saw him smile. "Why Hello there Mr Tobias" She said sitting back down. Artemis raised a brow when he said he got into a fight. "Did Lyra do this to you!" She said urgently knowing she was the only one he fought with.

"Not all of it," Tobias said truthfully. He gently touched his nose as he spoke. "I hope you won't do anything irresponsible. Lyra helped me get here if I remember correctly."

Artemis raised her brow as she eyes widened. "So she did ut you in here though" She said sighing shaking her head. Artemis looked at him. "Dont worry TK, I wont do anything irrisponsible" She said crossing her arms over her chest. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling pretty good. I could probably leave if I wanted to go," Tobias said, sitting up in bed. He was still wearing his clothes from last night. Blood was caked on his hoodie and his jeans had grass-stains on them. "Maybe I should change," he said as he scanned his appearance.

Artemis looked at him. He looked exauhsted and his clothes were stained. "Yeah..maybe you should go change" She said standing up ready to help him if he was getting up. "I still think you should rest though.." She said noticing the blood on his hoodie. She pressed her lips to a lne.

"I'm fine, Artemis, but thank you for the concern," he said with a gentle smile. Tobias clambered out of bed and brushed himself off. He stretched his arms over his head then bent down to touch his toes. "Feels good," he said. "I'll go change. Want to hang out somewhere?" he asked Artemis.

Artemis nodded. She watched him stretch and figured he was better. She shook her head a bit as he touched his toes. "Yeah Id like that" She said when he offered them to hang out. "Um Text me when your done changing on where we will hang?" She asked him. Artemis didnt really know where they should go.

Artemis nodded as she left a few minutes after him. She walked out side and sat on a bench under the sun.
