"I have nothing planned," Aaron said in response to Jamie's question. "I might take a nap in a while, but I'm not sure," he said. He was probably going to go catch a movie or something (which I am haha). "What about you?" Aaron asked Jamie.

"I think I'm fighting tonight," Lyra said, knowing she was going to spar against Penelope Greene today. Electric powers versus a sonic scream... interesting choice for powers fighting each other. "Probably around 8 or something."

"I'll check it out too," Aaron said. "Do you know who you are fighting?" he asked. It was the first fight of the year. It would be exiting to witness, thinking that both fighters were equally talented. "What's the time for the fight?" he asked, although he could easily check it out himself.

"I'm fighting Penelope Greene?" Lyra said, her tone almost question-like to see if Jamie or Aaron knew her. She was probably a younger year. Lyra didn't affiliate with younger years as much as she did with seniors. "Oh, I said eight," Lyra said to Aaron, maybe he didn't catch her.

"Penelope? She's in my year," Aaron said. He knew the two people who were fighting today so it was only best if he went to support both of them. He probably wouldn't root for anyone for that reason. "Good luck to you," he said.

"Aww thank you!" Lyra put a hand on her heart as she thanked Jamie. She appreciated fans and cheers for her. It made her feel good about herself and made her work harder. "I remember one year in my freshman year, it was my first fight, " she said and took another bite of her salad before talking, "I cracked the window that separated the seats from the field from my scream... it was kind of embarrassing."

"I don't think that's anything to be embarrassed about," Aaron said to Lyra , but he understood how. It was her freshman year and first fight so it had to be a little startling for her. He remembered his first fight. He didn't know what to do, he just controlled the emotions of his opponent and then the opponent didn't feel like fighting any more. It was... boring.

"You've never fought- oh that's right," Lyra said with a nod, remembering their conversation. "This is your first year here," she said and tapped her mind with her index finger to show she remembered. "They're fun, except the funsponges who take everything too seriously. Then it's just ridiculous."

"It's your first year here?" Aaron looked over at Jamie, "are you a freshman?" he asked him. He never asked about his age. It didn't really matter to him. He was just happy his roommate wasn't a mental freak.

Lyra raised her eyes and scooted away from Jamie when he shouted. She covered her ears, hearing a ringing echo. "Was it really that funny?" she asked with her eyes shut, she opened one eye to look at the laughing Jamie on the ground. "Or are you joking?"

"Woah," Aaron blinked as he watched Jamie's reaction to the word "funsponge." He never heard the term but didn't find it especially funny, unless Jamie was joking around. "Are you okay dude?" Aaron asked, looking over the table.
