In his head Jamie was contemplating what to say. 'Should I Lie? No but I don't want to hurt her feelings!' "Well....We Played Spin the bottle....And he had to kiss me...But I had to leave after that....." He finally said biting his lip waiting for her to punch him in his face, Quite frankly he would have welcomed it.

Shockingly, Carson's first thought after his response was, "Wow. Cora's right..." (Which was more or less meant in a negative way) But what should she do now? There was an endless supply of physical reactions. She could verbally or physically assault him, or just walk out, run out, cry... But which one would fit? Technically, they hadn't even been together, so he hadn't cheated. But Carson had really thought he'd liked her and it turned out he liked her little enough to go around kissing other people. It disappointed her. Normally, being the completely irrational person she was, Carson would pound the face of anyone who got on her bad side. But tonight... she just didn't want to.
"Oh..." She let her head droop. "That's... cool..." She murmured, basically whispering. Leaving her trash still sitting on the table, she walked around Jamie, slightly bumping shoulders with him on the way, and left the cafeteria, heading back to her room.

"Fuck..." Jamie said quietly to himself and walked out deciding to go to the courtyard.

Penelope walked into the dining hall, starving, and got a plateful of pancakes, fruit, and a bit of bacon. She poured a cup of coffee and headed over to a table by the window. She sat down and began eating.

Cora, who was now content with an hour or so without the buzzing in her head, walked into the Dining Hall, knowing her cereal would never hold her five hours. So she leisurely piled scrambled eggs, bacon, and two small pancakes onto her plate. She made herself some iced coffee and picked through the group of students to find a familiar face. She smiled to herself when she found Penelope Greene, and walked over to the table by the window.
Cora sat across from Penny. "Hello, Penny. Do you mind my company?" she said, politely greeting the girl. She glanced out the window, sighing at the thin clouds that hung lazily overhead.

"Hi Cora," Penelope said. "No, not at all. Sit," she said to Cora. "You okay?" she asked, noticing that she sighed when she looked out the window.

"Yeah." Cora felt a cloud of depression press on her. The weather was like this the day Jess died. "It just reminds me of--" Cora stopped, realizing Penny didn't know. No one except Carson here knew, "of nothing. A-a-absolutely nothing." Cora swallowed some eggs, wondering if Penny would ask about her stuttering.

"Yeah, I get that, too," Penny said, leaning back into her chair with her coffee in her hands. "The clouds are so blah, you know?" Ugh, am i really talking about the whether? Penny asked herself. "In other news, how have you been? I don't think we've talked in a while."

Cora finished her eggs before responding, "Oh, well, I took a day off to go to my aunt's funeral. Logan died. Carson kissed Jamie but now is heartbroken due to a dream I had. Yeah, basically nothing. You?" Cora didn't care if any of it was big news.

"Oh, I'm sorry about your aunt," Penny said, though she really didn't care for people she didn't know. "And I know about Logan," she paused for a moment, thinking about him. "And I have no idea what people kissing other people means. I don't pay attention to those kinds of things," she said. "As for me? Nothing much. Just school. Friends. Boyfriend. The usual."

Carson entered the dining hall, facade up, ready to fool everyone into thinking she was perfectly fine. She observed the breakfast buffet; there were plenty of things she'd normally devour within minutes, but today that wasn't likely to happen. She piled some eggs and bacon on her tray and noticed Cora across the room sitting with Penelope Greene. She only knew Penelope from the party, and she hadn't stayed long enough to strike up a conversation with her that night. Carson plopped down beside the two girls, mumbling a quick "hello" and beginning to pick at her food.[data]What she's wearing: i673.photobucket.com/albums/vv94/TomBoySk8r99/CarsonsOutfit7.jpg

Cora nibbled on a piece of bacon. "Yep. So..." Cora said. She couldn't think of anything to say.

"Hi," Penny said to the girl who'd just sat down. She couldn't remember her name at the moment, but she did remember that she'd seen the girl at her party. "What's up?" she asked her.

Cora watched as Carson plopped down next to Cora. She immediately sensed the dark cloud hanging over Carson's head, and it seemed to have influenced the weather. "Hello, Carson. Are you feeling better at all?" she asked simply in a sweet voice. Even Carson and the complaining that came with her could not ruin her attitude.

Carson tried to keep her tone pleasant, but it didn't necessarily work. "Nothing much..." She grumbled, breaking tiny pieces off her strip of bacon and popping them into her mouth.
