Artemis walked with Nick and Tobias down to the pier. It was nice out. Chilly and getting dark. She liked it like that. "So..." She said looking to nick. She really never spoke to him so..she wanted to know more about him.

Artemis looked over to him. "Oh um...I dont ask this but what can you do?" She said looking to him then away. She normally never asked what powers a person had but..She was trying to start a conversation since Tobias was off in his own world.

Melrose took a stroll down to the pier. Although speeding over would of taken seconds, sometimes doing it the old-fashioned way was more satisfying. It was pleasant, surreal. Zen, really. The night was calm and Melrose could wash out any unnecessary thoughts with the rolling of the waves crashing against the piers. It had been the first time she had been to the pier really and Melrose knew from the moment she arrived she'd be visiting more often.
Her legs were starting to ache a bit from wandering about, so she took a break to lean on the wooden railing. Suddenly she spotted three silhouettes approaching along the pier. She recognized one of them as Art. The girl who had fought Siburis in the sparring room and there was also Tobias too, who helped her up at the end. The third she wasn't able to lay a finger on. Although she knew of the two, Melrose hadn't really talked to them.

Artemis raised a brow. "Telekinesis" She said nodding. She was about to sat what she could do but she stopped when Nick said he already knew. Artemis nodded. 'Oh yeah you saw that" SHe shrugged looking out over the pier. Artemis took her hands as she began messing with her ring. It was almost like her life. She turned to TObias as she shook her head. "What? nothg you were day dreaming" She said.

"Oh okay," Tobias replied blankly. He looked around, bored. Tobias followed Artemis and listened to her talk with Nicholas.

Seeing Art, was like seeing a celebrity. Geez. She was a tough, talented fighter from what Melrose had seen. Intimidating, yet totally hard core.
She wanted to say something real bad and introduce herself. Anything. But Art looked busy talking with the mystery man. Spotting Tobias as the third wheel, she thought she'd take a snag at it with him. He seemed incredibly nice anyway.
"Tobias?" she asked, stepping forward as they passed by. She kind of regretted it the moment it came out.

Artemis smiled at his comment. "Oh wow thank you" She said bowing her head slightly. "It takes alot out of me though...I need to work on it" She said inhaling. Artemis opened her palm and a ball of fire appeared. Again she didnt care that there were others. She noticed a familiar girl walk up to Tobias she shrugged. She saw a few people look her way noticing she had no lighter.

Melrose grinned wholeheartedly. She knew Tobias was a swell guy. After watching him help out Art in the arena and how he seemed so close to Lyra came across that he made for an awesome friend.
"I'm great. Really, great actually." She rubbed the back of her neck, trying to keep the situation from getting too awkward. Melrose wasn't completely sure how that come about but you never know in her case. "How about you?" she added, pointing toward him.

Tobias laughed at Mel's enthusiasm. "I'm doing fine," he replied with a grin. She seemed like a great girl.

Nick watched the small ball of fire in Artemis' hand, longing to be able to do that himself. He took a few breaths to calm himself. "Really?" he asked her, "I'm surprised; it looked really strong."
