"Oh..." She said nodding. Needing some air sounded so...corney to her. It was weird she smiled slightly. Artemis directed her attention to Noah when he sat next to her. She rubbed her arms for a minute as the air hit her. She made the waves weird and crash hard against the crowd. "Oh nothing...getting some...air" She said as she thought about it. She leaned against Noah for a brief second seeing if he was warm for some odd reason. She closed her eyes as she shook her head.

It wasn't until he felt Artemis lean on him, that Noah noticed her choice in appearl. He was in a t-shirt and jeans himself, and couldn't offer her much to keep her warm. Besides, he thought to himself, she's proabably warm enough, being a fire manip and all. "So, how was you're day?" Noah said, not sure of what else to say.

"Eh...crappy?"S he said pressing her lips to a line as she snapped her fingers and created a flame. A few people made some comments as her eyes diverted towards them. She inhaled as she made the fire dance in her hand. "But...My day is slightly better now" She said turning away. She liked Noah...Bu not like anything would happen. This time she would keep her mouth sjut. "And yours?"

Noah leaned back, using his arms to keep him up. Artemis was ... different tonight, not her usual fun, outgoing self. Noah tried to put it out of his mind, figuring that if she wanted to talk, she would. "Hmm, my day?," Noah started, "My day was, well boring. Besides reaching a new level in farmville, this is the best part of my day." He said, trying to lighten the mood a little.

Artemis saw hoe Noah was trying to lighten the mood. It wasnt his fault she was upset. She smiled at him making the night better. "Farmville eh?" She said shaking her head. "Your an evil nerd huh?" She giggled nuging him. "Im fne really just some stupid things that happened and..I wish I saved them for someone else" She said sort of looking at Noah then away.

"Pfft, I'll have you know Farmville takes skill and precision to play, not just random mouse clicking button pressings." Noah said in mock seriousness. But he couldn't stay in his lighter mood.
"You sure there's nothing?" Noah asked. Not only was he nervous for his friend, he was rather confused as well. Usually he could realize what was up with people, but he had yet to get to know Artemis well. Deep down, Noah hoped he would get the chance to know her better, and that the mood she was in tonight was just a one time thing. Not her way of telling him that she didn't want to be friends.

Artemis couldnt help it. She let out a laugh and blushed a bit. "Thaks Noah" She said knowing he had no Idea what she ment. "Riight...Skill" She said shaking her head slightly. Artemis was quiet for a minute "Ok...So here is the thing." She took in a deep breath knowing this was the worst thing to say. "There are two guys I like...Like really like well one more then the other" She said putting her head in her hands. "Im so dumb for this" Artemis sighed deepky. "I told one guy that I liked them sort of...and I felt stupid for it..so Im afraid to tell the other guy how I feel for in case he thinks im a plyer or he doesnt like me back" She said looking away. "Wow..Im a lunatic" She said softly. "You really dont wanna hear all this" She said still not looking at him. If only he knew he was the other guy...

Noah wasn't exactly sure what to say to that. He could think of a million and one things that could probably put her into tears if he said them out loud, but he didn't. In fact, he was sort of ... shocked. Knowing he should say something, Noah tried. Each time he got stuck; he was sounding like a stuttering fool. Finally, he got out a, "No, you're not a lunatic." Noah then cursed himself on the inside. He hated not being able to say the right thing.

Artemis just starred at Noah the entire time he tried to speak. He kept opening and closing his mouth with nothing coming out. Her eyes narrowed a bit wondering what he was thinking. After a while when he finally told her she wasnt a Lunatic as sort of starred blankley at him. She nodded slightly lost. "Thank you?" She said with a small laugh. "I know that was totally random and really girly..Im sorry for that" She said biting her lip and looking away.

Noah laughed a bit at his own stupidity. Somehow he had managed to get himself and Artemis lost in a matter of a a single sentence. "Just nevermind, pretend that didn't happen," he said about his stutters. "So, feeling a bit better?" Noah asked, trying to push away the memory of his most recent conversation fail.

Artemis shook her head at Noah. "Um ok?"S he said trying to smile. It was slightly funny seeing him lost for words. "Yes actually...a little better" She said with a smile. Artemis leaned against Noah slightly as she made the waves dissapeared for a bit leaving the people who were still awak and down there confused when they went farther to the water she made a huge tidal wave over them. She laughed a bit noticing she was still leaning on him. "Oh..sorry" She said moving her hair from her face.

Determined to regain some portion of his dignity, Noah reached an arm around Artemis, pulling her closer. "Nothing to be sorry for." He stated, like it was an obvious fact. Feeling more confident in himself, Noah laughed at the poor recipients of the giant wave. "Just because?" He asked her, pointing to the waves she was causing, with his free arm.

Artemis smiled a bit. She widened her eyes a bit when Noah pulled his arm around her and pulled her towards him. SHe looked up a bit confused but scooted towards him with a smile. She nodded a bit with a laugh. "It makes me feel better and yes Just because" She gave him a light shrug as she leaned her head lightly on his chest.

Noah was glad she was feeling better. Or at least looking happier, as he heard her laugh and saw her smile. It was definitley weird for him; comforting others was not his forte. "So, what now?" Noah asked, not really sure as to what he was talking about. He was still digesting the fact he was being some what nice.

Artemis looked up to him with a light shrug. "Im not sure...Im not creeping you out am I?"S he said attempting to sit up if he was freaking out. Noah seemed...Not like someone she would actually be close to. He was a bit like her in a way. He seemed nice but had his Evil streak. "Your something else Noah" She said pressing her lips to a line. She just wanted him to be himself..Not be all weird.
