Nefertari walked in with the group of girls and grabbed a booth near the window. They all ordered their drinks and talked about superficial things while they waited for their drinks. Nefertari hid her boredom and pretended to care about the new Coach collection, and how 'like totally fabulous' it was. She looked around for someone from O-Gifted to save her.

Although Aaron promised himself to swim at the ocean, he stopped by the coffee shop first. He wasn't one who fancied coffee but he didn't mind the ice drinks and smoothies that were served here. The little bell rang when Aaron opened the door and he walked inside, greeting the worker back as he went up to the stand to order a smoothie.

Seeing another boy that she recognized from school, she said goodbye to the group of girls. She gave a sigh of relief thankful to have found someone else to talk to, hopefully he'd say something more interesting than,'Ohmygod, your top is so cute'. She walkedup to him and smiled cheerfully,"Hello there, you're also from gifted, right?"

Aaron paid for his drink and nearly jumped, started to hear the girl behind him. He turned his head around and nodded, "yes, but I think Oceanside is the preferred term in public parts," he said to Tari, hoping nobody heard the word "gifted." But it's not like anybody here would understand what she meant by gifted. "I'm in your year," he said.

"It gets confusing because that's also the name of the high school here", she replied,"I think I may have seen you in the halls or some classes, but I don't believe we've talked before. I'm Nefertari, you are?", she asked.

Hand stretched against the glass door to Pier View Coffee; Brielle pushed the door open to be greeted by the bell ringing and the sounds of coffee beans grinding and water steaming. At the counter were two familiar faces from Brielle's school. She walked over to the boy and girl, and smiled shyly. "Hey guys.. You go to Oceanside... Right?" Brielle waited behind them so she could order her ultimate love in life... Coffee.

"It's better that way then, possibly," Aaron said to Tari and reached behind him to grab his smoothie from the worker. "Thank you," Aaron said, turning his head around. He looked back at Nefertari, "I'm Aaron," he said. It was only a few seconds later Brielle came over and Aaron nodded, "yeah, we do," he said and moved out of the way, "oh, I'm not in line," he said and waved his smoothie, "I got my drink."

Nefertari turned at the sound of the bell ringing and looked at the girl who walked up to them,"Which one?", she asked with a smile, she was pretty sure she was from he school but not certain,"I'm not ordering anything either so you can go ahead", she said to the girl. "Well, it's nice to meet you Aaron. When'd you arrive here?", she asked.

Brielle took one long nod at Arron. "I thought I've seen you 'round." Realising he already he had his drink, "Oh, sweet thanks." Her Australian accent thick on every word. Brielle took a few steps forward to the counter and also a little bit closer to Nefertari. "Y'know.. The one where people are.. How to say it in public... Different?" Brielle tilted her head to the side and smiled. "Catch my drift?" Turning back to the now impatient worker, she decided to order. "Hi, a large cappucino please." After ordering, Brielle turned around to continue her conversation with the two. "I'm Brielle by the way." She gave a polite smile. They both seemed nice enough.

"I came here two days ago," Aaron replied to Nefertari, "when early move-in day was," he said as he took a sip of his banana-strawberry smoothie. It was okay tasting. He put a free hand in his pocket. "I'm Aaron," he said with a nod as he put the straw in his mouth. Her accent was thick and it always took him a while to distinguish if she was British or Australian. "You wouldn't have any Cherry Ripes with you by any chance?" he asked with a cheesy grin. Cherry Ripes were delicious.

She nodded,"I go with gifted, makes us seem special. Well I suppose we are", she replied, speaking a bit more softly. This girl seemed nice,"I'm Nefertari, I might be getting you accent wrong but you're Australian right?" She noticed the sun was setting once again and smiled, she loved the sunsets in Oceanside. everyday it was a bit different but still beautiful. Pity her camera couldn't capture it. "Oh, I moved in that day as well", she replied then looked confused as he mentioned cherry ripes,"What are those?", she asked.

"It's an Australian chocolate bar," Aaron replied to Tari. "Probably one of the most delicious chocolates you will eat in your life. Real cherries in there," he said. Oh how he wished to go to Australia. Best chocolates there. Especially the smarties. But he could get chocolate Smarties in Canada, too.

She laughed and nodded,"I see. I'm not really a fan of chocolate", she shrugged. She wasn't much of a fan of discussing food as well.

Brielle laughed whislt greeting the two. "It's good to meet you Aaron and Nefertari." She smiled. "I don't have any cherry ripes on me bu I brought a ton of chocolates over. They're all in my room back at the school. Brielle was shocked to hear that Nefertari doesn't like chocolate. "Wow.. Well I have just the thing that'll make you love chocolate." She was tired of standing and hinted to the two that they should all move over to a booth. "Yeah, I'm Australian." It was entertaining to have the Americans and what-not guess where you're from.

"No Cherry Ripes?" Aaron was disappointed. He felt his heart drop a little. He didn't respond to Tari's chocolate comment. If she had a Cherry Ripe her opinion would change. Aaron looked to the side and drank more of his smoothie.
