She smiled as a waiter came instead...the waitress that was here decided to swich tables it was the lady from the other day. He set down her cup as she smiled to her and left.

Noah gave the over friendly waiter a scowl as he walked off, trying to hide it from Art. To go along with her joke, Noah stuck his tongue out again. He let out a laugh. "Yeah, I hope the day does get better." He responded. "So what did you get up to today?" Noah asked.

Artemis nodded at the waiter as she saw him give them a weird look. "Rude?"S he said wondering why the waiter changed moods so suddenly. She narrowed her eyes with a small giggle. "And you do it again" She said picking up the fork and jabbing it towards him jokingly. "And I hope your day gets better as well" She said starring at him a bit. "What did I do today hmm....I got in a fight with my Arch nemesis" She said shrugging.

"Oh, fun," Noah said, "Wait, who's you're arch nemisis?" He questioned, not having heard of such a person. Noah also suppresed a laugh; he didn't think a teen could have an arch nemisis.

Artemis raised a brow. "One I was kidding..He is just an enemy..." She said twirling her straw around in her coke. "And his nae is jamie" SHe said clenching her fist slightly "Stupid green Lantern"

Noah gave her a questioning look at the green latern comment. He decided it was better not to know. "Never met the guy, what'd he do?" He asked.

"What dont look at me like that...he glows" She said intently leaning over the table with a smirk across her face. "And he just pisses me off thinking he can tell me what and what not to do" She sais sipping her coke. "No big just dont like the kid"

Noah nodded at her explanation. It seemed legit; Noah was one to get into fights with kids just because he didn't like them. Now looking to change the topic, Noah realized he didn't know that much about Artemis. "So, where are you from anyways?" He asked out of curiousity.

Artemis sipped her coke looking up to Noah when he spoke to her. "Im from England actually"She said looking down a bit. She didnt know why no one really heard her accent..maybe she was losing it. She shrugged. "Yeah My family and I moved down here for this school." She said rolling her eyes.

"You don't sound too excited to be here," Noah stated. He stook another sip of his coffee, not really minding if she chose not to respond to it. Noah placed the coffee cup down, leaning back in his chair.

"Canada. More specifically, Vancouver." Noah said, not going much deeper than that. Interacting with various store clerks had showed him that Canada wasn't something most people in the area were interested about. "Why were you sent here?" Noah asked, though he felt it was something Artemis didn't really want to talk about. He shrugged it off, he wsa curious now.

"Canada...cool" She said with a smile."You know how they spell canada right?'S he said with a smile. C eh N eh D eh " She said unable to stifle her laugh. She took in a breath as she looked to Noah. Her face straight. "My parents called me a freak...they said I needed to learn how to be normal for once" She said as a few sparks left her hand. A few people turned noticing she had no lighter in her hands.

Noah laughed along with her Canada joke; he was finally finding them funny after he started attending Oceanside. But his laugh stopped as Art's face went serious. "So I take it you don't get along with your parents? Thats not something most would say." Noah said, thinking of his own parents a bit.

She was glad he laughed at her joke if not...it would be very awkward. "No...Not really we used to untill I got expelled from about three different school and the exposure of my powers" She said finishing u her diet coke. "I was fine in the begining...But I dont know" She said...It was really her parents that made her have...villain tendencies. She shrugged a bit. "Sorry for that sap story"
