After swimming, Lyra went to the showers and washed herself off. There was no need for chlorine in her hair. After drying off and dressing, she came downstairs to the main room of the hall. She sat down on a red couch with a bottle of red nail polish, in case she wanted to paint her nails. They needed to be repainted anyways.
Her hair was pushed back by a headband and Lyra barely paid attention to the television show her hallmates were watching. She looked at her feet and wiggled her toes. Hmm maybe she should paint her toenails.
Lyra put her feet on the couch and tucked them underneath her. She made small chitchat with other seniors about classes.

Samantha walked downstairs, and saw more students. "Hi.", she said to Lyra. "I'm Samantha. Who are you?" She looked around and sat down. A couple more students were watching television.

Lyra's eyes followed Samantha's as she walked over by Lyra and sat down. "Oh, hi, Samantha," Lyra flashed a smile at her. "I'm Lyra," she said. Lyra fixed her sitting position to be more comfortable. "How are you doing tonight?" Lyra asked. Hm, maybe Lyra would go back to Off-Key Karaoke again tonight.

"Hi, Lyra. I'm fine. You?", she asked. She thought Lyra seemed like a nice person.

Lyra came downstairs back to the television room and sat down at the same spot she did before. The television was free so she picked up the remote and turned it to TLC, hoping Cake Boss or Say Yes to the Dress was on. She was a sucker for those shows.

Lyra stood up from the couch and turned off the television. She was getting hungry and she walked out of the Hercules hall and made way towards the Dining hall so she could eat a late lunch.

After getting dressed, Aaron walked down to the main room of the Hercules Hall. There were students playing foosball, pool, air hockey, and watching tv. Aaron waited patiently for Melrose, feeling kind of antsy. After learning about Melrose's speed, he hoped she got ready faster than the average girl.

Melrose changed into her favorite red sun dress, in fact it was the same one she wore to the beach. Taking her way down the elevator, she started to feel kind of nervous. She couldn't imagine hanging out with Aaron outside of work. It was kind of odd.
The elevator doors opened and her eyes landed on Aaron. Geez. How long was he waiting? Hope it hadn't been too long. But she kept it together and acted like it wasn't a worry of hers.
"Ready to jet?" Where exactly to, Melrose wasn't entirely sure. Though really she didn't have a care.

The wait wasn't too long. Mel changed her whole outfit compared to Aaron. He looked over at Mel, who looked nice. But he didn't want to say anything. Was it too early to compliment her? Aaron didn't want to look like a weirdo. "Jet?" Aaron's head moved back. "Where are we going?" Aaron asked Mel. Did they have a plan that he forgot about? "Where are we going?" Aaron asked Mel. "Do you have a preference?"

"Oh. I don't really. I mean, you've been here longer than I have. I've only be to like the beach and stuff." It was true, Melrose hadn't seen as much as she liked of the campus.
Aaron looked nice. Cool shirt. It kind of made her nervous. However, she wasn't entirely sure why. There was something about Aaron that she wasn't entirely sure of. Like with Tobias, it was his face. His pretty, little face. But Aaron? She couldn't place her finger on it. It was something nice though. Maybe because he was such a helpful and kind guy.

Tobias had walked over to Hercules Hall after receiving a text from Lyra. He stood outside the doors and waited for her to come and get him. A black hoodie and jeans, had been hastily put on before he had left his room. TK waited patiently, looking up at the sky.

"Uh... well," Aaron scratched his head, "that's all there is, pretty much," Aaron said. "We can always get food but working in a restaurant makes me not want to eat out," Aaron replied. He leaned on his heels and looked around. What was there to do... A hand came out of his pocket and Aaron snapped, trying to think of what was there to do. "Want to... uh, hang out at the school somewhere?" Aaron suggested. That way Mel could get a feel of the school in time for the new year rather than used to the city on the weekends.

The elevator door opened and Lyra exited the room. She ignored Melrose and Aaron- not to be rude, because she was ignoring people who were also on the floor, but she couldn't have Tobias waiting outside by himself. Lyra opened the door and held it for Tobias, "hi TK!" Lyra waved to her friend and motioned him to come inside. "Glad you could finally make it," Lyra teased, sticking her tongue out at him.

Tobias turned around to see Lyra holding the door for him. He smiled at her and stuck his tongue out at her in retaliation. "Hello Lyra," Tobias said, taking a step inside the building. "How have you been?"

"I totally understand. I'm definitely not hungry and frankly I don't think I'll be for a very long time." Aaron was right. The smell of Pizza Planet will most likely haunt her for years to come. Never again will Melrose work in a icky kids' restaurant. There's just no way.
"We hang around the school. Sure, good thinking. There's the arena, um the fountain, the um... courtyard?" Melrose tapped her chin in thought, joining in on Aaron's destination brainstorming. That was about all of the locations she could think of.
Her eyes wandered around the common room, looking about for familiar faces but eventually they just landed back on Aaron.
