"You get used to it", she said to Darek, after being here for a while it all seemed normal.
"Oh yeah, Jamie and that Siburis guy right?", she asked, wondering when that fight would happen, or if it even would.

"Yeah, I heard about that," Lia said about the fight, "I haven't heard anything definite though." She shrugged. She straightened the bottom of her black t shirt before continuing. "We can sit down you know, we don't have to stand in the corner like creepers." Lia gestured over to a group of chairs and couches.

Seeing the last text from Tari she finally found out how to get in the passage way. She walked to the end of Herc hall and found the T.V room. "Ha I found it" She said feeling proud of herself. There she saw Tari derek and a girl she hadnt met..along with Aaron. "SUp" She said with a wave.

"What?" Aaron looked up at Mel as if she was acting dumb. Such a silly girl, thinking that she was bothering him. Melrose could never bother Aaron. If anything, he loved having her around. But he would never admit that. "It's tedious writing these things. I don't see myself changing. I should just keep a copy and reuse it," Aaron laughed lightly and tucked the paper in the journal so he could focus on Mel. "First week is almost done!" Aaron paid no attention to the new comers. He didn't want to be rude to Mel... and he just didn't really mind them there. "Going to Tari's birthday on Saturday?" he asked. He fidgeted with his hands, hoping his face wasn't read or sweat wasn't dripping from his forehead.

Lia gave a wave to the unfamiliar blonde girl as she sat down. Lia thought she remembered seing this girl at the fountain, but wasn't sure. Either way she seemed to know Tari and was going to stay for a while. Lia sighed and decided to let the girl finish her greetings before introducing herself.

She waved to Artemis and plopped down on the couch,"The walking isn't so bad, it being pitch black does", she laughed, her cellphone barely had lit up her way.

Artemis still had her flame lit in her hand. "Yeah it was pretty dark" She said looking around. "Hi there Im artemis" She nodded to the girl. Soon she turned to Derek. "Yes..our halls anr very boreing...especially when no one is there or asleep."

Melrose grinned brightly, seeing she wasn't too much of a bother. "Well I just wanted to make sure, you know?" She laughed along with his copying idea, brushing the hair off her shoulders. Things were just right with Aaron. She could spend the whole night talking to him about absolutely nothing and still refer to it as a riveting conversation.
And the topic of Tari's party came. Melrose felt her face become warm though she couldn't exactly explain the reasoning behind it. She truthfully hadn't really thought about the party, despite the fact Tari was a close friend of hers. But why not? She definitely wasn't busy Saturday.
"Yeah definitely. Are you?"

Hmm, Artemis, pretty name, Lia thought to herself. She then opened her mouth to return the introduction but closed it quickly; Artemis had already turned her attention away. Well that was rude, she thought. Art was beginning to remind Lia of all those queen bees that she had seen at her previous high school. The pretty ones that only had time for their most important friends.

Derek turned to Lia, since she was still standing. He noticed she had a face of slight frustration, and his lips soon turned into a slight frown. "Lia, you sure you don't wanna sit down, since you suggested it and all...", Derek said, attempting to lighten up her mood.

"Yeah, if I'm not working. I don't remember my schedule," Aaron said. He couldn't request a day off work for a party. He didn't want to get fired, although he hasn't requested a day off so far. It was Tari's party and supporting her would be nice. Although what would he give to her? He was unsure what Tari liked. He knew she liked frozen yogurt, but that was all. Gah. Parties. And Tari liked throwing them. It would be filled with people he did not recognize. Aaron started to feel uncomfortable already. "It will be awesome if you go," Aaron grinned. He was comfortable around Melrose. He could have fun with her- woah woah woah that sounded terrible! Bad Aaron! Bad!

"What- oh, sure." Lia said, having Derek talk to her brought her out from her thoughts. She took a deep breath as she sat down on the end of a couch. Feeling better, Lia tried to speak to Art again. "Hey I'm Lia." She said, deciding it would be best to give the girl a chance before judging her.

Artemis shrugged as she heard the new girl speak. "Lia"S he repeated walking over to her sticking out her hand. "Hello. so this is your hall? Herc"S he said nodding. Artemis took a seat on the arm of the couch. "So..what can you do?" she always felt weird asking that..is wasnt somethng she did often.
