Bonfire

Brent was staring incredulously at Artemis until she mentioned that she was from England. He wanted to slap himself, for he should have made that connection after hearing her speak. "Wow, so Egypt and England. There's a pretty broad range of students here." He noted.

He turned towards Nefertari after processing the sentence she said. He raised an eyebrow and repeated, "Forbidden room?"

"Really now?" Lyra did not believe Artemis. There were girl scouts in England, right? All girl scouts made smores. Hell, people camped in England. "If it makes you feel better," Lyra said to Brent, "I'm from Nevada. That's pretty plain."

Artemis looked over to Aaron. "I would put it away if I could Aaron" She knew he didnt really like her. It wasnt really her fault...but she decided not to really care. She would be gone after this year. She inhaled as she cupped the fire on her leg wincing a bit. It hurt a bit but she didnt want to start anything. She attempted to get rid of the fire. She kept silent form making a rude comment. She looked to Lyra. "Nevada eh?'S he smiled a bit. "Its fine..I should learn new stufff here"S he said shrugging in the sand

"Should you really be out if you can't control it?" Aaron asked. It wasn't safe to have someone holding fire out and about. It would ruin their social cover. Maybe if he got into her mind- no, it wouldn't work. Emotions wouldn't help with power control. "How come you can't control it?"

"Am I the only one who read the rules around here?", she laughed,"Yeah there's some off limit room that we can't go near", she looked over at Artemis sympathetically,"Try going near the water? Or use a subtle air current", she suggested.

Brent frowned at Nefertari's reply. He complained, "Well, all that does is make me want to go check it out. No fair."

Artemis shook her head. "Havent learned how yet...I get by a source with..what ever I have...and it kind of goes-"S he opens her hand and a flame grows bigger then the bonfire. She quickly stops it. "Sorry"S he reluctantly said/ "Im just like that."s he shrugged and nodded over to Tari. Artemis stood up and walked over to the water as she walked in the wake of the waves keeping her fire down.

She laughed,"I know right? Well, if you hate this place enough it's on the fourth floor of the main building", she replied. She thought of something,"Bring a ginger and a nerd with you though", she joked, wondering if anyone would get the reference.

Tobias pulled his marshmallow out of the fire. It was perfect and looked delicious. The outside was golden brown. He got a graham cracker and a piece of chocolate and made a smore. He walked over to Artemis and offered it to her. "Here try this," he suggested.

Artemis looked back to see Tobias running over to her with a hot smore in his hand. She giggled a bit looking at it. She slowly took it cooling it off with an air current. She sort of looked at it blankley. "Um..." She said taking it close to her mouth. She took a bite where hot marshmellow oozed out and fell on the side of her lip. "Mm ht" She tried to call as grahm cracker stuck to the marshmellow on her lip;.

Tobias laughed and Artemis. "It's a good look, maybe you should consider it," he told her jokingly.

Artemis looked at him as she hit him gently. "Ha ha..." She said getting the bit on her lip with her tongue. "Gone?'She asked looking at him with both sides if her face.

"Yup, you got it," he said smiling at her. "How have you been lately?"

Artemis looked to him. She shrugged. "Im...Im alright. "She said with a smile. "And you?" She asked kicking up the water in front of her.

"I'm doing alright," he responded. "Is the water cold?"
