Soon seeing tears fall from Penny she began to do the same. Shaking her head she reached out to Penny. "Penny no. no we didnt get caught" Not even thinking about that...They Were in the school right...Yes yes they were. "No Penny were in the school...were safe" She said breathing heavily crying with her. "Penny" She said still reaching over to her. Just seeing Penny awake felt so much better, She wasnt alone anymore.

"What happened?" Penny asked through tears. She wiped her cheeks, and tried to stop herself, every tear singing as it touched her skin. "Where are we? Where's Nick?" She asked, looking around. She didn't see him. Good, he's safe, she thought to herself, He's not in here, so he's safe.

Wheres Nick?That hit her hard..was she the only one to see him Die? Was Penny out before she saw. She couldnt help it. Dropping her hand she shook her head crying...loudly sobbing like. "Penny" She said through thick sobs. "We were in a coma. And Nick" She choked looking away. Her bed became hot as well as Penny's. The metal on the bed got red like fire. "Penny Nick is dead" She barley spoke out. Unable to contain her self she grabbed her head in her hands. "Its my fault. Im so sorry" She said looking up to Penny's red face.

Penny's eyes opened wider, "Sorry, what?" She asked, her tears ceasing for a moment. "I don't think I heard you correctly." But she had, Nicholas was dead. Nicholas Warner was dead it was both their faults. Penny hoped it wasn't true.

Artemis looked up and nodded. She wiped her face balling her hands to fists. "He is gone Penny. Gone!" She shook her head again and again. "Im so sorry this happened to you" She felt like it was her fault for wanting to go up there...to see what was behind the door...to go on an adventure. Inhaling a bit she looked to Penny. "Im- Im glad your ok" She said closing her eyes.Whats going to happen? I bet she hates me...what will come?

"No, this is my fault, too. I should have stopped you. I'm a prefect, it's my job," Penny said, shaking her head and taking Artemis' hand in hers. My job. Shit. Am I going to lose that? she asked herself. She shook the idea out of her head, and focused on Artemis. She could feel heat from Artemis' hand, and looked down, to see that her hand, her arm, her entire body, was glowing with electricity.

Artemis felt Penny grab her hand. She felt light zaps of Penny's electricity but nothing was happening. She looked up through red eyes. "It was us...we did it" She said squeezing her hand. She was glad Penny was there with her. "penny" She said. "He is gone..." She bit her lip looking down. Something had happened in there...there powers seemed amplified. "Penny" Again she said looking up. "Were alive...we have to think of that now"

"I know," Penny said, taking a breath. "I know." She leaned forward towards Artemis' bed and hugged her. Artemis' heat radiated through her body, and Penny could see her electricity go through Artemis. "What's going on?" She asked, referring to their powers.

She nodded taking in the hug. She held her tightly releasing looking at them both. "I -Im not sure" She said seeing there powers. Inhaling Artemis looked around slightly. "I I think it was the orb?" Artemis looked to her hands..My ring She thought. Looking on both sides of her bed frantically. She wouldnt say anything...Penny had just woken up but there may be a problem. If the nurses had taken it, surley they would have given it back by now. But it was gone.

"I feel.... I feel more powerful," Penny said. "What do we do now?" she asked Artemis, not noticing her looking around frantically. "Are we being expelled?"

Artemis snapped up and looked at Penny. "Expelled?" She said, her eyes widened. "Oh god...Im not sure" She said still looking around but focused on Penny. "No one has come to talk to me...I-I havent heard anything...No one has told me a thing" She said sitting up slightly. "I agree..I feel more...more dangerous" She said.

"How long have we been here?" Penny asked Artemis, looking around. The infirmary was empty. All the nurses and doctors were off doing something else. It was just Penelope and Artemis. Penny sat up further and swung her legs over the side of the bed, her toes touching the cold floor.

Artemis saw Penny get up. She handt even thought of getting up. "Oh, moving I should try that"" SHe said slowly moving out of her bed. Things began to spin a bit as her head pounding seeing Nicks lifeless eyes. She clutched her sheets. "Almost a week since thursday" She said...

"Oof," Penny said, "My head hurts." She lay back down on the bed, clearly not ready to get up yet. "What do we do?" Penny asked, unsure if she had already asked that of Artemis.

"I...Im not sure" She said trying to stand and almost falling over. "Standing fast is not good" She said sitting on the edge of her bed. "Penny...what do we do?" She asked knowing she knew more then Penny did. "I mean...do we just wait to get out and act as if nothing happened...classes people Homecoming?" She asked looking around.
