Not entirely sure why, Skye laughed at the last part of that.
It was only a moment's worth but she was apologizing even as she tried to regain her previous calm. It eluded her now that no one was in serious trouble however, but she couldn't let that keep her silent so she cautiously went on. "Maybe they're right if you have short term memory loss," she mumbled, hoping the joke would be noticed for what it was. She had mentioned her ability was Healing only moments before after all.
"I'm not sure that's anything I could fix, but if you let me spend a moment of your time you should be free to go. The nurses know the scope of my ability better than I do it seems, but they do trust my interference."

Olivia giggled slightly. The girl's humor wasn't particularly the best, but she tried. "Well, if anything it would be my memory to go first", she joked. Sadly, that was more true than I want it to be, considering my synthetic power's downfall. Then at the second suggestion, Olivia nodded. "If you can get me out of here faster, I'm willing to try."

She followed along in silence, nodding in reply, and when Olivia finished she quietly clasped her hands together for a moment before speaking. "Alright, as long as I have your permission," she said with another small nod. She didn't do anything yet though, there was something she had just remembered. "I should mention that sometimes other abilities react oddly with my Healing, so there's a small chance you'll feel something more than just the slight chill."
She didn't know why it sometimes happened, but occasionally helping others last year (after she had proper control of her ability) either she and the patient both, or just one of them, would feel what seemed to be a backlash of energy. Sometimes it was like getting shocked by static electricity and others it was a mild headache that faded after a couple hours. There was no recognizable pattern, and someone who set off a reaction once didn't always do so again, but those reactions were rare. The temporary chill was normal though, but that passed as quickly as the Healing itself.

Hana stood up straight, nodded to the girls. "Sorry for the disruption." she looked back to see the blonde, "Not sorry to you though. Go train more."
She walked out lackadaisically, not before stretching her arm out along the floor so that it went unnoticed. Hana snatched up the ring that was by the blonde's bed and smile, her face turned away from the rest as her arm shrank back to normal length. Ooh, not bad at all. A smile grew on her face.

Olivia nodded, then shifted back down and closed her eyes. Here goes nothing...

Skye just nodded to Hana's comment, even though she'd already turned to insult Artemis again. Letting go concern over those two as the calm came back, she focused both on Olivia and nothing. A single slow breath out, closing her eyes as she exhaled, and suddenly her right hand was glowing a darker pink-y color that extended a short distance around the flesh but stopped neatly just below her wrist.
Only then did she open her eyes again. Reaching forward slowly, she hovered maybe an inch away from Olivia's chest and the glow seemed to spread across the other female. For barely a breath it lasted, then the color winked out around Olivia.
Skye withdrew her hand, no longer glowing either, and did a quick one-over visually though she didn't expect to find anything. There really hadn't been anything to fix, she had mostly just sped the recovery process along. She felt fine still, hardly any energy use at all too, but there was still the matter of any side-effect the other girl might feel.

Olivia gasped. She felt something like a cold wind sweep over and through her body, and she instinctively shuddered. While no visible changes to her body took place, she could feel herself swell with energy, then it went away. A slight chill remained. Opening her eyes, Olivia breathed deeply. She sat up on her bed, shifting to sit with her legs dangling over the bed. She felt much better, even better than she did before. Looking up, Olivia said, "Thank you... um, I'm sorry, but I never got your name?"

It wasn't until Olivia spoke, and was clearly just fine, that she let herself stop worrying. The almost question was a valid point too. "I'm Skye," she answered simply. "And I didn't catch your name either."

"I'm Olivia. And again, thank you for that." Olivia looked over Skye's shoulder and it seemed the nurses were going to let her out. "Looks like your healing did the trick. Glad to finally be out of here." Olivia then started to search through the drawers on her bedside, muttering something about finding her clothes and changing out of the itchy infirmary gown.

"You're welcome," she answered habitually though that didn't mean it wasn't sincere. "I'm not supposed to mention it, but if anything minor enough happens that you don't want to come here again just try and find me and I can help you out again."
The nurses didn't like injuries going unrecorded so she wasn't supposed to offer Healing outside the infirmary. They said they didn't want her to overtax her ability but there wasn't anything else for her to do with it and too much energy can be just as bad as too little.

"Aha, found them," Olivia said as she pulled her clothes and belongings out of the bottom drawer. Turning back to Skye, Olivia smiled, and said, "I'll keep that in mind. Though if you ever want to just hang out, be friendly and all, I'm pretty much available. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to change." With a quick wave Olivia went to find the nearest bathroom. She couldn't wait to get out.

"I'll keep that in mind," she told Olivia as she rushed off to change. A moment later the younger girl was gone, and two more moments later Skye decided to head back to her dorm. There was nothing more for her to do here after all and still some work she'd put off because she couldn't concentrate on it. Maybe now she'd have enough focus to at least try and do some of it.

Penelope. She was there. She existed again, but only in her mind. She couldn't feel her body. Penny tried moving her fingers, and she tried to open her eyes, but she couldn't. She couldn't even control her breathing. She was trapped in her own body, and could do nothing about it.
Around her, sounds began to become clear. She could hear a steady beeping that matched her heartbeat. A Darth Vadar-like noise came from directly in front of her. There was a low murmur of voices, but no words were clear to her.
Where am I? she asked herself. Where the fuck am I, and what is wrong with me? she tried moving around, but couldn't. SOMEBODY HELP ME! She shouted, unable to know that no one could hear her outside of her brain. LET ME OUT OF HERE!
She suddenly got an image of Artemis, huddled next to her. The image flashed through her mind, and shortly after one of Nicholas, moving backwards, his hand outstretched, his expression one of fear. Blackness, and then a flash of her force field failing - a solid metal door - a dark tunnel - green grass and tress - her friends laughing and hugging - walking along the beach with Siburis. All of these scenes flashed before her eyes, but they all lead back to that thing- that giant blue orb. That's mine, she said, That's my power. But the image of the orb zoomed out, and it was huge, and she saw that it wasn't her electricity at all, but the thing that had caused her to become like this.
Suddenly, Penny's eyes opened, and she sat upright in her bed in the Infirmary. The lights were blinding and she couldn't see anything at all.

Artemis again woke up from passing out...Would she be doing this for a while now...randomly just pass out? She could barley hold a conversation with out blacking out...but always being woken up by the vivid nightmares that hunted her head. Over and over...Penny Grasping for the door holding on..Nick inching closer to the orb... Herself unable to breath calling out both there names unable to to anything...Seeing Penny drop to the ground, Nick lay there motionless...lifeless. Her blacking out into the abyss of her mind.
Jumping up from the nightmare again she looked around...starting to remember a bit more and more..."Hospital" She repeated again. Missing her best friend Penny, she wondered if she would wake soon, they had both gotten it badly. Not knowing what the orb had done to either of them her mind kept wandering to Nick who had gotten the worst. He had lost a life and why...because She wanted to go the room...It was her fault.
Artemis gripped her head as her eyes slowly opened puffy and red...remembering slowly. Looking again down at her hands she was healed but a few brusies or cuts remained. Seeing Penny slowly stirr next to her in the bed she moved lightly to face her. "Penny?" SHe asked not sure if she was awake...She needed her best friend like never before...having that guilt...Biting her lip she gripping the bar on her bed. "Penny!"

The room began to come into focus, and the beeping noise sped up. After a moment she was able to see where she was; In a hospital, with wires attached to her. Oh no, she thought, I've finally been caught. Her pulse sped up rapidly when she heard someone, someone familiar shouting her name. No! Not Artemis. She turned to her left and saw Artemis. "Art," she began crying, the tears crackling with electricity as they ran down her face, "I'm so sorry. I didn't- I didn't want to get caught. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry."
