Aaron laughed lightly, "well that doesn't help me. What did you have in mind?" Aaron asked Penelope, turning his body around so his legs were on the outside of the table. "You must of had somewhere in mind or else you wouldn't have brought it up."

"I just wanted to get out of the dining hall," Penelope said. "We could hang out on the grounds, or go to the pool, or go into the city," she suggested, "Whatever sounds best to you."

"I can see how the dining hall might bore you," Aaron looked around the hall. It was rather plain and the sight of food only made him hungry more. He stood up from his seat. "I haven't been to the city yet. How about we take a walk on the beach?" he suggested to Penelope.

Entering the dining hall with Jamie, Aaron went to the buffet-style cafeteria line and got lunch. Today he had a chicken burger with french fries on the side. He grabbed a juice carton for drink and sat down at a table after Jamie got his food. "The best part about coming to this school is you are always ensured at least 3 meals a day and not go hungry," he said.

Aaron looked up from his food to back at Jamie, wondering what he meant from that question. "I didn't feel like going anywhere at the moment," he said, then answered the question if Jamie meant by roommate-status, "and I didn't have a roommate at the time," he replied before taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"Lyra... Lyra..." Aaron repeated quietly, wondering if the faint name would match a faint face. "No, I can't say I have," he said. He didn't recall any Lyra's in his house or in his year. Karaoke wasn't Aaron's favorite thing. He couldn't sing for crap, at most he would only sing in his car. "Why do you ask?"

Lyra entered the dining hall and went to get food. She wasn't in the mood for anything in particular so got a taco salad. With her tray in hand and drink at the corner of the tray, Lyra looked around for a familiar face to eat lunch with. Aaron and Jamie stood out from the crowd, probably because she recognized Jamie from their previous encounters. "Mind if I sit here?" Lyra asked as she sat nearby Jamie.

"That's cool," Aaron said, "do you know if she goes here?" Aaron asked. Maybe she went to the other Oceanside school. Aaron saw Lyra come to their table from the corner of his eye and his direction turned towards her. "Uh no, I don't mind, go ahead," Aaron said, pointing to the empty spaces near the two.
